The information necessary for Crown Universal and Star Global to assist you is not complicated and easy to obtain. You will need to collect the following information and provide it to us.
Short Sale Documentation Checklist
Authorization to Release Information — This form is Individual specific. You must list on this form ALL names of people that you are giving permission to speak with your lender(s) about your Short Sale request. We will provide you this form to authorize us to speak on you behalf.
Hardship Letter — Your lender will require a handwritten letter, not to exceed one page, explaining your hardship and the reason you are requesting the Short Sale. We will provide you with some general examples.
Two-years pervious tax returns. If you do not have copies we can provide you a form to request a copy from the IRS.
W-2 Pay Stubs (or other verification of income (if any) from the previous two months). If you are unemployed, we need a simple statement form you stating so.
Copy of Driver's License (or other approved ID)
Four-months of bank statements. If you do not have these we can assist you in requesting them from your bank.
Information on your current mortgage lender(s). Mortgage statement(s) are usually the only thing we need. If you have more than one mortgage provide us copies of each mortgage statement.
A Financial Report. We know this is not fun, so we can help by doing a telephone interview with you and then help prepare a cash flow report. This is simply an income and expense report. We will then forward it to you for review and verification. We will need you to sign this for accuracy.
If you have your own business or are self employed we will also need a simple Profit and Loss statement.
